a cypress tree placed in front of a house means that travellers are welcome to quench their thirst, two cypresses are an invitation for them to enter and have a meal; finally, three cypresses offer board and lodging to the stranger passing by.

Christmas santons and cribs - traditions of Provence
Our Christmas crib figures are made out of terracotta; they are stamped and decorated by hand. Each character is unique; it is the product of pure craftsmanship. Our entire production comes from our workshop, located in Marseilles, in Provence, France.
